Students benefit from the Sheffield Creative Industries Institute's specialist film and performance facilities. Film courses use theatres with 4K digital projection and 35mm film projectors, and give students access to an extensive film library, as well as the BFI's SIFT database. Performance courses use the Performance Lab, a fully equipped theatre space, and Steelworks, a state-of-the-art recording studio.

We also offer masters-level courses in filmmaking and performance practice, and opportunities for doctoral research at the Humanities Research Centre. And whatever level you study at, you'll join a city-wide community of like-minded practitioners and enthusiasts, including student societies dedicated to film, theatre and comedy.
